As I near old age, I consider the rest of my life an adventure - a journey both outside and within myself to gather experiences and memories.
Around our mid-fifties, my husband and I left Athens (the capital of Greece) and the legal field we worked in to settle in my husband's birthplace, a village of 250 people.
Though an amateur, I opened a restaurant in this small village, off the beaten path. I have been cooking in this for the last decade, allowing my creativity to express itself while also offering and enjoying the joy that gathering around a table provides.
In addition, I enjoy writing to amuse and comfort myself and, hopefully, others. Moreover, it helps me maintain my new perspective on my life, both past and present, as well as my memories.
